- Gemini nominee Michael R. MacDonald is a Producer, Writer, and Director, for film and television. With interests ranging from the paranormal and religion, to aviation, MacDonald has created many projects for national and international broadcasters. He is president of Road House Films inc., based in Halifax, Nova Scotia. MacDonald recently directed and presented 'Supernatural Investigator' for VisionTV, 'Intruders: Abductees Speak Out!' for SPACE, and 'Famous Monster: Forrest J Ackerman', which is distributed internationally. MacDonald has also produced, directed, and written for Discovery Channel, History Television, CBC, National Geographic Television, Life Network, Food TV U.S., and Discovery UK. Through Road House Films, Michael continues to develop projects, to direct and produce, and to create music soundtracks.

Thanks Michael this brings back fond memories! Not exactly of the menu, but sitting with Uncle Forry and hearing his string of bad jokes and puns! Like once when we were leaving: he tugged at my arm so I turned around to see him placing his hand over the last "S" in "Please Wait To Be Seated", grinning ear to ear. I laughed and told him it wasn't very grammatically correct, as it should read Please Wait To Be Eaten". Without missing a beat, he said "Well it's better than Please Wait To Be CHEATED!" RIP FJA.
